The week that was

Hello All - hope you had a wonderful half term for those who were having one!  Ours went by in a flash and I have to say that I feel absolutely shattered.  I normally find them quite relaxing, but this one seemed quite intense.

There was a bit of this (but not much)

Celebrating a 10th birthday

watching this great film

and a little spot of this

I won't mention the comings and goings of friends, sleepover, marginal bickering, constant changes of clothes, and the hourly supply of food and water through the week!!  If I ever want a career change, I think I'm quite well qualified to run a B & B!

I'm off now for a lie down and an extremely big cup of coffee....

See you later in the week.

I like the mention of "marginal bickering" as opposed to big time bickering that we've had here this past half term. Found out last night that it's an inset day today. Boo hoo, had planned to do some lovely lonesome crafting too. Oh well.....

Phew! We have two weeks instead of one, and things have gone at a more leisurely pace as a consequence. Son 2 is STILL over at a friend's house - he went to stay the night on Saturday and it's been extended by phonecalls since then - he's expected back for lunch today now. He's going to be exhausted... And on the Blueberry Scale of Bickering I fear things might move from 'marginal' past 'big time' to 'whopper' if he's really tired.

I remember school holidays well! The bickering, the hourly eating, never had sleep-overs!
My youngest is 26 so it was a long time ago!
